Summary
The Bible describes Jesus as “…a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief…” Isaiah 53:3 There are three times that He is recorded to be weeping. Each provides a picture of empathy for us to follow.
1. Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41)
2. Jesus wept of the death of Lazarus (John 11:35)
3. Jesus wept in the Garden of Gethsemane (Hebrews 5:7)
