The heart of God compels us to seek him.

Every empty seat in church is an opportunity for a soul to be saved.

3.       Prayer warrior examples – Abraham, Moses, Isaac, David, Daniel, Hannah, Jesus Christ.

The Bible describes Jesus as “…a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief…” Isaiah 53:3 There are three times that He is recorded to be weeping. Each provides a picture of empathy for us to follow.

1. Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41)

2. Jesus wept of the death of Lazarus (John 11:35)

3. Jesus wept in the Garden of Gethsemane (Hebrews 5:7)

1.       The situation is overwhelming V 5.

2.       The supplies are insufficient V 8.

3.       The structure of God V 10 Make the men sit down.

Jesus heals blind Bartimaeus.

What can we learn from a blind man?

1. Teaches us our need for Jesus.

2. Teaches us our need for Godly friends.

3. Teaches us our worth.

4. Teaches us we are loved. Don’t let your past define you.

5. Teaches us to be specific in our prayers.

6. Teaches us we are wonderfully made.

7. Teaches us to live a life of gratitude.

Different types of sin

1.       Sin of ignorance

2.       Sin of carelessness

3.       Sin of presumptions
